The name ‘Sea Glass Realty’ was chosen to describe the properties we list and sell. Just as every piece of sea glass on our beautiful beaches is unique, so are all the properties SEA GLASS REALTY lists and sells.

Sea glass is smooth, frosted, beautiful pieces of glass that are found on the beaches beside oceans and seas. They are formed from man-made glass products and are polished and refined by the waves and currents of oceans. The properties we list are all unique with different features and amenities. Our sellers deserve very targeted marketing and a high level of attention to get their properties sold. The buyers we represent deserve a team that has a unique and high level of area knowledge, the market, real estate property, value propositions, negotiations, investment opportunities (residential, commercial, 1031 exchanges) and service!

Lisa and Linda founded the company and have been known as the “Mahoney Twins” for over 55 years. After graduating college, we went on to build beautiful families and to have successful careers; and have been living our dream on the North Carolina Coast for nearly two decades!

Lisa has over 20 years of experience in appraising and as a leading Realtor in the Raleigh/Durham area. Linda has over 25 years of experience as an executive in corporate marketing and has had her real estate license for over 10 years.

Today, together with our husbands, we own two well-known historic Bed and Breakfasts in Southport, North Carolina. We know and understand the market and excel in negotiations, service and detail. Every real estate transaction is treated uniquely and professionally.

In 2019, Marcia Erwin joined the Team to lead our research and sales for Brunswick County Islands with a strong focus on Oak Island. She, too, brings a lot of knowledge, energy and commitment to the Team.
